POLICE have released images of suspected shoplifters from across the North-East in a bid to trace several men caught on supermarket security cameras.

Anyone with information on the identity of the men pictured can contact the police via non-emergency number 101, or by emailing caughton.camera@durham.pnn.police.uk, quoting the unique incident reference number.

Officers hope to speak to two men pictured inside Burnmoor petrol station, between Chester-le-Street and Houghton-le-Spring, after an attempted theft on Sunday, July 3.

Details on the identity of one or both of the men can be passed on using incident reference CRI00003673.

Another man is sought in connection with an alleged shoplifting from a Sainsbury’s store, off Cotsford Lane, Horden, on Saturday, July 2.

His details can be passed on using indigence reference CRI00003599.

A young man is also wanted in relation to an alleged shoplifting from Darlington’s B&M store, off Meynell Road, on Monday, June 13.

Information on his identity can be given to the police, using incident reference CRI00001080.

Durham Police released a final image of a man inside Chester-le-Street Boots after an alleged theft on Saturday, July 2.

He was of slim build, wearing a grey cap and a black hooded jacket with dark blue jeans that had the number 96 on the back of the left leg.
