Woman, 69, arrested in flat blaze probe
POLICE have arrested a woman following an arson in North Tyneside.
The incident happened on Friday, December 5 when a flat on Shakespeare Street, Wallsend was set alight.
"Residents from the below flat were evacuated for safety and a 69-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of arson and is currently being interviewed by police," said a spokeswoman for Northumbria Police.
