DETECTIVES have released CCTV footage of an armed robbery at a Middlesbrough convenience store in Ormesby.
A man entered the store armed with a hammer and demanded goods while making threats to a male member of staff.
The man caused damage to the counter, before fleeing with a very small number of cigarettes. No cash was taken during the incident and no one was injured during the robbery which took place at around 3.30pm on Longbank Road on Friday, October 17.
In an earlier appeal, the suspect was described as a white man wearing dark clothing and white trainers. He ran off in the direction of Springbank Road.
