EXTRA public swimming sessions have been added to a leisure centre's pool timetable.
The changes at Durham County Council-run Spennymoor Leisure Centre aim to give people have more opportunities to exercise indoors over winter.
As well as more swimming sessions on a morning and evening, the pool will also host aquafit for all levels of fitness, swimfit supervised lane swimming and parent and child activities.
The pool has waves, slide and splash sessions on most evenings and on weekends for families and young people.
The revised timetable also includes splashtots sessions for parents with babies and toddlers and swimming lessons.
