POLICE are appealing for help tracing two men after a house window was smashed.
A large beer bottle was hurled at a car parked on the drive of a house on the Middridge Road Estate, in Langley Park .
The bottle bounced off the car and hit the ground floor living room window, smashing one of the panes of glass.
PC Colin Brown said the incident happened just before 11.20pm on Saturday, August 25 and the two men made off on foot after the incident.
One was wearing a cream-coloured or white hooded jacket and the other was wearing dark clothing and a hat.
Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact PC Brown at Consett police office via the non-emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
