A 23-year-old woman has died after falling from the rear of a property in Middlesbrough in the early hours of this morning.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident which happened in Albert Mews, Albert Road, shortly after 3am.
The woman, from Middlesbrough, was taken to hospital where she pronounced dead.
A post mortem examination is due to be carried out to establish the cause of death.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident, and would ask anyone who was in the area at the time and who may have seen anything to contact Middlesbrough CID via the non-emergency number 101.
