HUNDREDS of youngsters battled it out for football glory yesterday.
Twenty-two cup finals took place at Middlesbrough FC’s training ground in Hurworth, near Darlington.
The Teesside Junior Football Alliance’s end-ofseason cup finals were competed for by 44 teams from across Teesside, North Yorkshire and County Durham – from under-nines to under-18s.
Teams from Stokesley, Darlington, Bishop Auckland, Richmond, Stockton, Marske and Richmond, among others, were involved.
