A MAN is in a serious condition in hospital after being injured in a street fight.
Police were called to reports of men fighting in Parliament Street, Harrogate, North Yorkshire, at 4.11am this morning.
A spokeswoman for North Yorkshire Police said one man suffered serious head injuries and was taken to hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.
One man has been arrested and is helping police with inquiries.
