POLICE searching for a 72-year-old man reported missing from home have said this evening that a body has been found in nearby woodland.
Kenneth James Froggett (CRCT) was last seen leaving his home in Chester-le-Street, County Durham at 10.30am yesterday.
A spokesman for Durham police said this evening that the body of a man had been discovered in woodland in the Waldridge Fell area, which is on the outskirts of the town.
The body has not yet been formally identified but police say the death is not being treated as suspicious.
