David Grout
A MAN has been arrested in connection with an assault which left a soldier fighting for his life.
A 19-year-old, from the Middlesbrough area, handed himself into a police station earlier today.
David Grout was taken to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough suffering from a head injury following an assault outside a club on Eston High Street on Tuesday afternoon.
The 22-year-old had just returned from serving in Afghanistan.
