A CANNABIS farm was uncovered at a North-East home after neighbours reported a strange smell.
Officers found ten mature cannabis plants in the bedroom of a home on High Street, Willington, in County Durham after a tip-off yesterdayabis Farm uncovered in Willington.
The occupant of the property was not at home but an arrest is expected to be made later today.
Acting Inspector Michael Bird of Crook CID said: "We acted on information from the public. This is a prime example of how the public can help police."
