THE funding team at Derwentside District Council is offering help to anyone applying for grants under the Breathing Places programme, run by the BBC and Big Lottery Fund.
The programme provides small grants to improve wildlife habitats in the community, and the deadline for applications is July 26.
Council funding support officer Ken Bradshaw will be available to help groups with their application. He can be contacted on (01207) 218217.
