A SCHOOLGIRL'S artwork will be seen across her community to promote a town improvements scheme.
Lauren Davies, aged ten, a pupil at Pallister Park Primary School, came first in the Operation Cleansweep event.
The competition, to promote cleaning up the Pallister Park estate in Middlesbrough, is a joint initiative involving the council, police, fire brigade and Erimus Housing.
Lauren won a week's pass to the Neptune sports centre and had her winning poster printed and displayed around the area.
Three runners-up who also get passes for the sports centre are Rebecca Walker, ten, Chloe Northend, six, and eight-year-old Linden Clarkson.
