A MAN took delivery of a motor scooter he had bought on an Internet auction site, and then went for a test drive despite having no insurance, a court heard yesterday.
Justin Jefferson, 31, of Hebron Road, Stokesley pleaded guilty to charges of driving without insurance or a valid test certificate, at Northallerton Magistrates' Court.
He was fined a total of £210 and his licence was endorsed with eight penalty points.
