Saltburn, Marske and New Marske Parish Council has awarded its latest round of grants. Saltburn Tennis Club has been granted £600, Saltburn Methodist Church £500, Marske Community Parents and Toddlers £200 and Errington Primary School £250. CHURCH CONCERT: The Middleton Festival Choir will sing at Saltburn's Emmanuel Church on Saturday, March 25, in aid of an appeal by teacher Suzanne Roberts, of Saltburn, for a school in Uganda. A teacher at St Bede's School, Marske, Ms Roberts visited the African school last year. The concert will include traditional and modern music. Tickets, priced £4, are available at the door. The concert starts at 7.30pm.

WARD SURGERY: Marske Independent Councillor Mike Findley, of Longbeck ward, will hold his monthly surgery on Saturday, March 25, at Marske Leisure Centre, between 10am and noon. Alternatively, he can be contacted on 07861 325720, from Monday to Saturday, between 8am and 6pm.

PENSIONERS' SHOW: The Marske and New Marske Pensioners and Friends group will host an afternoon of entertainment on Tuesday, from 2pm to 4pm, at the Cheshire Homes, Redcar Road, Marske. Admission costs £1.50. For more information about the group or the event, contact Mike Findley on 07861 325720.

HOSPITAL AID: A coffee morning will be held at Marske Leisure Centre, from 10am to noon. Admission is 50p. Proceeds will be donated to the Friends of Stead Hospital.
