DURHAM'S Steve Harmison has been ruled out of England's third Test against India through injury.
The fast bowler missed the tourists net session at the Wankhede Stadium to undergo an X-ray on his right shin which has troubled the 27-year-old since the conclusion of the nine-wicket defeat in Mohali.
It showed bone stress in the area and further medical advice will be sought before deciding on whether Harmison remains on the nine-week tour.
