A JOURNALIST is to present a lecture on faith, politics and the war on terror.
Tom Osborne, a visiting professor at St John's College, Durham University, began his journalistic career covering the United Nations for the ABC news channel in the US and rose to be bureau chief in the build-up to the 1991 Gulf War.
He teaches courses in US foreign policy at a university in Tennessee and has produced TV documentaries on the war in Iraq.
He will speak at St Mary's Cathedral, Newcastle, at 7.30pm next Tuesday.
