TWO people are recovering after being injured in a road accident.
A Jeep left the road and landed in a ditch near Thorpe Bassett, Malton, on Sunday evening.
A woman passenger in her 40s was released from the wreckage by firefighters.
She suffered leg and facial injuries and was taken to York Hospital by the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
The male driver was taken to York Hospital by road ambulance. It is not thought he was seriously injured.
