A 20-YEAR-OLD male has been seriously assaulted in an argument.
The man sustained severe injuries, including swelling to his face, in the altercation, in Stocksmoor Close, Firthmoor, Darlington, at about 5pm on Friday.
An ambulance was called and the victim was taken to Darlington Memorial Hospital, where he is in a comfortable condition.
Police have named a man they want to want to speak to in connection with the incident. They have appealed for Paul Neil Wilson, 20, to contact them.
They are also appealing for any witnesses to come forward to speak to DI Dave Wilkes on 0845 60 60 365.
