RUMOURS that a Guisborough gym has closed down have been quashed by its owner.
Bodyzone women's gym has only closed temporarily for urgent roof and electrical repairs, according to owner Craig Bayliss.
The 42-year has reassured the gym's 400 members that it will reopen its doors once the maintenance has been carried out.
Despite spending several thousand pounds on renovating the gym, water has been leaking into the electricity supply and causing problems.
He said: "Letters are due to go out to all our customers, explaining the situation, but we are not closing. In fact, we are looking to expand our gym activities."
