A PANEL for people in north Durham is looking to expand.
Derwentside District Council has commissioned a research company to find out if people would like to become more involved in discussing how council services can be improved.
This month, random households will be contacted by telephone and asked for their opinion on the council's operations, and given the chance to join Derwentside Citizens' Panel.
Panel members are invited to participate in two surveys per year. It is free to join for any local resident over the age of 18.
