PLANS to introduce a disc parking zone with a two-hour limit in the centre of Easingwold look likey to get the go-ahead next week.
The proposed scheme would cover the whole of the Market Place and parts of Long Street.
Officials at Hambleton District Council say the proposal will control inconsiderate parking.
The scheme is one aspect of a £160,000 package of measures drawn up to improve traffic and transport issues in the market place.
The authority's cabinet will discuss the plan on Tuesday.
