A FATHER and son have gone into business producing prints and embroideries of military cap badges.

Victoria Prints is run by Graham Prince MBE, a former soldier with 36 years experience and his son, Ian Sixsmith. They began by producing prints, but now sell military embroideries and also frame medals for customers.

Mr Prince, of Leyburn, said: "The idea started with my son and then we got together as a family and decided how we could make it work.

"We have a stall on Catterick Market every Sunday. About 50 per cent of our business comes from Catterick - our customers range from the Second World War veterans to new recruits."

The firm also produces company logos and crests, and family memorial pieces.
