A NIGHTCLUB has undergone a £2m revamp after moving to larger premises in Newcastle.
Fluid Design Solutions, based in Newcastle, has designed the Powerhouse nightclub, which has moved from Times Square to Westmorland Road.
Powerhouse, owned by Trafalgar Leisure, has taken over the former Sugar nightclub, together with two nearby buildings, which were previously unoccupied.
Fluid was asked to move away from the industrial-style surroundings of the old club.
The new Powerhouse includes an illuminated dance floor and a ground floor bar, called Gossip.
