Thornaby manager Neal Granycome is thinking of quitting after his side threw away a two-goal lead and lost 4-2 at Billingham Town on Saturday.

Granycome blew his top with his side's second half performance, although he was also angry about the injuries to Neil Campbell and Nicky Mohan in the first half that forced them out of the game.

"I said things at half-time, but it looked as if none of them had taken what I'd said to them. If they're not doing that, then maybe I've come to the end of the line," said Granycome.

"We changed from a good side in the first half, to a side that looked very disjointed after half- time, and I was very annoyed about the way we capitulated.

"I wear my heart on my sleeve, but do the players? I was in the same position a few weeks ago, but this is happening too regularly."

Granycome was also upset about challenges on Mohan and Campbell, and said: "I'm distraught with the refereeing standards of the Northern League."
