APPEAL FOR CLUES TO ATTACK: POLICE on Teesside are appealing for information after a 26-year-old man was attacked outside a pub on Christmas Eve. The incident happened outside Sharkey's, in Redcar, between 12.30am and 1.30am. The victim was taken to The James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough, suffering head injuries, cuts and bruises and serious injuries to his right eye, which later required plastic surgery.
