FOOTBALL fans can take part in a competition while helping to fund a stadium for an amateur team this month.
Bishop Auckland FC are running a Spot the Ball competition throughout January, in association with FilMAR photography, in aid of their new stadium fund.
The Bishops hope to move into a stadium in Tindale Crescent later this year and all proceeds will be split between the winner and the fund.
The aim is to find the exact position of the football, which has been removed from a recent picture of the team in action.
Entry is 50p for one cross, £1 for three crosses or £2 for ten crosses. To enter, fans can visit the website, www.bishopafc.com
The deadline for entries is January 31.
