A TASTER course in searching for family history will be held in the Clayport Library, Durham City, at 2pm on Saturday, January 7.
Tutor Anne Hinchliffe, who has worked in family history for 30 years, will explain how to begin a search, with hints on the usefulness of birth, marriage and death certificates and how to get the most out of the census and the Internet.
The taster session will be followed by a range of courses starting in the week beginning January 16
