FOUR workers from a cold storage company have taken to the skies for a daring stunt to raise money for charity.
Administration worker Sandra Scott, shift manager Fergus Todd, store manager Andrew Baldwin and managing director Garry Tilburn, who all work for Reed Boardall, in Boroughbridge, did a sponsored skydive.
Their efforts raised a total of £2,500 for the Macmillan Cancer Relief fund - of which the company donated £1,100.
Mr Tilburn said: "It was a great experience jumping out of a plane at 10,000ft.
"We are particularly keen on Macmillan because we know the funds are used in our local community."
Karina Stead, community fundraiser for Macmillan, added: "People do all sorts of weird and wonderful things for us. Reed Boardall's skydive was one of the more unusual. We're just really grateful for their fundraising efforts."
