Darlington Building Society has donated £1,000 towards the purchase of a new computer for a local charity.
St Teresa's Hospice will use the computer to give presentations at in-house training sessions.
Hospice director Jane Bradshaw said: "Our training outreach programme is an important part of the work at St Teresa's as it gives future practitioners a greater awareness of the hospice ethos and of palliative care in general.
"This donation and the subsequent purchase of the new computer is going to make such a difference to all our training programmes and I would like to thank everyone at Darlington Building Society for their continued kindness and support."
