A MAN chased a 13-year-old girl down a street and slapped her across the face, after accusing her of staring onto his window.
Last night, Bishop Auckland Police issued an e-fit of the man who is believed to be about 39-years-old, of medium to heavy build and with dark hair.
The incident took place in the Craddock Street area of Bishop Auckland at 8.23pm on Thursday, October 13.
Two 13-year-old girls were running down Craddock Street when a man stopped them and accused one of them of staring in his window.
He allegedly chased one of the girls, grabbed her and slapped her.
The man was said to be wearing dark tracksuit bottoms, a dark top and slippers.
