THE 59th Stockton Music and Drama Festival takes place over the next three weeks.
It is being held at Teesside Prep and High School, Eaglescliffe, with sessions beginning at 9.30am and 1.30pm.
This Saturday, the choral competitions will be judged with choirs and soloists taking part in a variety of classes.
Next Saturday is the turn of speech and drama, with instrumental soloists and ensembles competing the following week.
Spectators are welcome to attend any of the competitions, with tickets for a single session at £2, or £3 for a double session. Children under 16 are admitted for 50p.
