Pricewaterhouse-Coopers has appointed BILL MacLEOD to its Newcastle assurance team from the company's offices in Glasgow.
Mr MacLeod has been with PricewaterhouseCoopers for more than 20 years and has been a partner since 1995.
He has a range of international experience and has worked in the firm's New York and Dubai offices.
Meanwhile, the firm has also promoted CHRIS BUTTRESS to partner at Newcastle.
He leads the firm's advisory practice to local government and has been with the company for more than 15 years. Before that, he worked in local government.
In the North-East, the firm has 20 partners and directors and employs more than 300 staff at a number of sites.
