A WEEK of arts activities are planned to celebrate the re-launch of a renovated arts and media centre.
Free films, workshops and exhibitions will be held at Rural Arts, in the Old Courthouse, Thirsk, from Friday, November 18 to Friday, November 25.
Rural Arts director Angela Hall said: "This is a great chance for people to come and support their local arts centre, as well taking part in the activities we have planned.
"Our doors are open to everyone and we look forward to talking to people to find out what events they would like to see happening in the future"
Fundraising for the £670,000 renovation began two years ago and building work has just been completed. Courses will be held at the centre in the new year, including media, digital photography and jewellery making.
