FASHION students at a North college have been cutting a dash on the catwalk in preparation for an awards night tonight.
Eighteen fashion, clothing, art and design students from Darlington College of Technology have been working on their moves and creations for their big moment.
The event will take place at Darlington Civic Theatre and will celebrate the achievements of staff and hundreds of students.
A packed audience will view work produced by students, with hair and make-up by college stylists.
Tutor Lynne Waterfall-Brown said: "The students have been working hard on avant-garde designs, which this year show more innovation and flair than ever.
"The awards night will give them the ideal opportunity to showcase their work while the college celebrates its success."
This year the ceremony is sponsored by Shepherd Construction, based in York, which is building the new £34.5m Darlington College, on the Central Park development site, off Haughton Road.
