POLICE in Spennymoor are appealing for information after a motorist bumped another vehicle in a supermarket car park then drove off.
A green Ford Mondeo, parked outside the Co-op, in Oxford Road, Spennymoor, while the owner was shopping, was badly damaged at 1.30pm on Tuesday. The offside door of the Mondeo was dented and scratched by the unidentified vehicle, which is thought to have been white or cream as traces of paint were left on the bodywork.
The driver left the scene without leaving any details.
