A PROPERTY management company in Darlington has won a contract to manage 126 luxury flats in Newcastle's affluent Jesmond area.
Town & City Management Services was awarded the contract by London-based Freehold Properties GR Ltd and will be responsible for all leasehold management issues including mediating with leaseholders, organising the collective insurance of the buildings and overseeing maintenance issues.
The firm, which was established in October 2002 by Peter Bigge, manages a number of schemes in the North-East, including the Buckingham Court scheme, in Darlington, and The Old Brewery, at Houghton-le-Spring, Wearside.
Mr Bigge said: "We've often found that developers in the City are looking for agents to manage their schemes locally."
