YOUNGSTERS will get the opportunity to try their hand at basketball with two new courses on Teesside.
Hartlepool Borough Council's sports development team is joining with the Hartlepool Hornets basketball club to bring the sport to children.
A course for boys aged 11 to 14 will run every Sunday, from 2pm to 3pm, at Brinkburn College in the town, while another for girls of the same age will be held on Wednesdays, from 6pm to 7pm, at Brierton Sports Centre's South Gym.
The courses, open to children of all abilities, will cost £1 per session and there is no need to book. For further information, call (01429) 284050.
