The Butterwick Hospice is looking for volunteers to take part in its fire and "ice" walks on Tuesday, October 11, at The Aclet Pub, Bishop Auckland.
People will be challenged to either walk barefoot over hot coals or broken glass (ice walk).
Organiser Sylvia Stoneham said: "The fire walk challenge is always popular, so this time we wanted to offer an alternative with the ice walk."
