BUDDING artists of all talents came together to create a jungle of colourful animals in Teesdale.
Children and adults joined professional artist Effie Burns to take part in the Sculpture Vulture class at Bowes and Gilmonby Village Hall, on Friday.
The project was presented by non-profit making arts organisation Artwork and was funded by Teesdale District Council.
The group constructed large animals using wire, coloured paper, cellophane and withies - tough, but flexible strips of wood that are often used in basketry.
Artwork project manager Denise Alexander said: "We have worked with Effie for quite a few years and her classes are always good. This one went very well. Everyone enjoyed it."
