MORE than 30,000 people visited a country park for what has become the largest motor exhibition and family fun day in the North-East.
The North-East Motor Show, at Herrington Country Park, near Sunderland, featured several events, including Monster Trucks Big Foot and Lil' Devil.
The crowds were also entertained by the Royal Artillery Flying Gunners -a 30 person motorbike stunt team -while motorcycle stunt rider Dave Coates, who holds the record for riding his machine backwards, showed off his skills.
Further daredevil antics came from stunt driver Russ Swift. Drivers who wanted to try extreme motoring could drive a 4x4 vehicle on an off-road course.
More than 100 exhibitors included leading car dealers from the region.
People as young as 14 were able to get early driving experience after first having a go in simulators.
