POLICE investigating the robbery of a woman who suffered head injuries were at the scene early this morning, a week after the attack.
Officers were in Chester Road, Sunderland, between 1am and 2am, looking for witnesses.
The 23-year-old had her bag snatched and needed stitches to a head wound after the robbery last Friday.
The woman was approached from behind and was deeply shaken by the incident.
