Twenty jobs will be created when a consumer advice line is launched in the North-East next spring.
The Department of Trade and Industry is making its telephone advice line, Consumer Direct, available to people in Tyne and Wear, Tees Valley, County Durham and Northumberland, as well as other parts of the country.
The jobs will be based at a Consumer Direct contact centre in Redcar, east Cleveland
