Midnight is running at Darlington Civic Theatre until Saturday. The show, which is mainly aimed at nine to 13-year-olds, tells the story of 12-year-old Violet, who wishes her controlling older brother would be kinder to her and that she could make a friend for life.
She also aspires to meet her favourite author, Casper Dream, believing he could be the answer to all her problems. Tickets cost £10.50 for adults and £8 for children, and are available from the box office on (01325) 486555.
