FOOD producer RHM was valued at £958m yesterday as the City clamoured for a slice of the maker of Hovis bread.
Investors ordered more than six times as many shares as were on offer in the firm, which also produces Paxo stuffing and Mr Kipling cakes.
Shares in RHM were priced at 275p. Chief executive Ian McMahon expressed delight at the stock market launch, which has attracted strong support.
