A SERIES of summer activities have been organised to keep children in Hetton-le-Hole busy throughout the holidays.
Hetton Sports Complex, in Barnard Park, has organised a number of sessions to last throughout the summer.
From 1pm to 2.30pm, every Tuesday and Thursday, there will be a fun zone for children aged one to eight, with supervised sports, stories and crafts. Admission is £1.50 per session.
Every Wednesday, there are circuit-training sessions for the whole family, from 1pm to 2pm. Anyone over the age of six can take part, although children must be accompanied by an adult. The £2 admission includes a free session in the pool afterwards.
In the pool, there are water aerobics sessions every Monday and Friday from 3.30pm to 4.30pm, while children aged five to 16 can learn to swim at courses taking place every weekday morning.
