THE work of hundreds of students across Darlington went on show to the public last night.
The exhibition marked the end of more than two terms of work at 11 schools in the west end of town and surrounding villages.
The schools were: Hummersknott School and Language College, Carmel RC Technology College, Mowden Junior, Mowden Infant, Abbey Junior, Abbey Infant, Heighington CE Primary, High Coniscliffe CE Primary, Skerne Park Primary, St Augustine's RC Primary and George Dent Nursery School.
Pupils at the schools produced the art work after visits from various artists, including a potter, illustrator, dancer and more traditional artists who paint and draw.
The art work, on display at Carmel college, included a film produced and directed by one of the schools.
