ORGANISERS of the seventh annual Thirsk festival have declared it one of the best yet.
The festival, which ran for nine days, featured music, concerts, a funfair, art and film exhibitions, sideshows, stalls and a grand gala.
It has been organised by Thirsk Rotary Club for the past seven years, and members say it was arguably the biggest and best yet, with attendance boosted by the good weather.
The club now wants to hear from the people of Thirsk about how they think this year's festival went, and what they would like to see included in future events.
Anyone who would like to make a comment can write to the festival administrator, Alan Nuttall, at 8 Castlegate, Thirsk or post thoughts on the festival website at www.thirskfestival.org
