A BROCHURE to help youngsters have a fun-packed summer has been published in east Durham.
Easington District Council has produced the School's Out pamphlet, which has been designed to let young people know about activities in the area.
The eight-page publication includes information on guided bike rides, fun sessions at local libraries, skateboarding sessions and sports courses organised by the council's sports development team.
There is also information in the brochure about activities for under-fours, holiday care clubs and events happening around the district.
The District of Easington's Youth Forum helped with the design of the publication and Councillor Joe Goodwin, executive member for community and culture, said: "There is so much going on in the district this summer, so there should be something for everyone to do during the school holidays."
The publication has been sent to all schools, libraries and community centres. Further copies are available at the Tourist Information Centre, in Peterlee, or by calling the district council on 0191-527 0501, extension 2601.
