A MODEL of the cruise boat, Teesside Princess, is now on show at the scale model layout of the Tees at Nature's World in Ladgate Lane, Middlesbrough.
It was made by Mr John Quick, of Marske, who attended its arrival last weekend at the facsimile of Castlegate Quay, Stockton. Passengers embark from the actual quayside on the Teesside Princess for river trips to Yarm.
Mr Quick, a former carpenter was asked to make the model by a member of the cruise boat staff, Mr Tony McDonald.
"I was amazed, but delighted, when it actually floated," said Mr Quick, who made it from scraps of wood he found in his garage.
